USA Mask Manufacturer Prepared to Provide Face Masks Nationwide

DocPPE is a New Source for PPE during the COVID-19 Crisis

Boston, MA: Critical personal protective equipment (PPE) has been in short supply since the coronavirus outbreak hit the United States earlier this year. In response, start-up companies like DocPPE, LLC have sprung up to fill the gap in supply.

In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, several states have issued stay-at-home orders, but many people in essential jobs still have to go to work, and people still need to shop for food and other essential items, or visit the hospital if they exhibit symptoms of coronavirus. As a result, some states, counties, and municipalities have mandated that masks be worn in public.

With the bulk of PPE items going to health care facilities and first responders, it has become very difficult for the average person to lay hands on needed masks. DocPPE is ready to bridge the gap with tri-layered fabric face masks for public consumption. Their stated mission is “To protect all people, one piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) at a time.”

Mask Construction

DocPPE face masks are manufactured and packaged in the USA and are authorized under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the FDA, as well as under a provisional utility and design patent. These products are designed with a tri-layered fabric called SMS, consisting of a meltblown polypropylene core, flanked by inner and outer layers of spunbound polypropylene – a common combination of materials used to create PPE.

DocPPE face masks also include a form-fitting aluminum nose piece and elastic bands designed to secure the mask to the face and prevent slippage during wear. These lightweight masks are comfortable and breathable, and are disposable following use. DocPPE masks are one size fits all.

It’s important to understand that DocPPE does not produce surgical masks, and makes no claims regarding filtration, liquid barrier, flammability, biocompatibility, or protection or reduction from diseases.

Bulk Discounts and Face Mask Donation

DocPPE product cost is $1.99 USD per mask, starting at a minimum order of 10 masks. Packs are also available in quantities of 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 1,500, 2,500, 5,000, 7,000, and 10,000 masks. Bulk ordering is also available, with discounts for any orders over 10,000.

Buyers who wish to donate masks to a facility of their choice will receive an additional donation of 10 masks from DocPPE for every 50 purchased. All orders are shipped within 1-2 business days, with shipping available nationwide via USPS and FedEx.

DocPPE is partnering with Blue Sky Sports & Entertainment, LLC, an athlete marketing agency, and their athlete and media clientele to donate product and provide masks to local healthcare workers, first responders, and hospitals.
